50ltr Buffer Tank
Available as a wall mounted version.
50ltr A rated fully insulated buffer tank suitable for cascading installations.
The 50ltr cascading buffer tank features additional flow and return connections, with 4 connections on one side and 2 connections on the opposite side resulting in the ability to have 2 separate heat inputs (both flow and return) independently connected into the buffer tank.
The tank also features 3 sensor ports on the front and an auxiliary 1-1/2" connection if a heating element is required.
Class A rated for energy efficiency and specifically designed for use with Heat Pump installations to provide a stored volume of heated water which helps to prevent heat pump short cycling, they can increase response times, COP and increase the life span of the heat pump.
Due to the design they also provide the same operation as a low loss header by dividing the flow and return circuit hydraulically in the system to compensate for differences in flow rate and pressure drop.
The ACF-PLUS are fully insulated Class A rated carbon steel wall mounted buffer tanks available in 50ltr. Features welded brackets for wall mounting.

4 x 1-1/4” F side connections + 2 x 1-1/4" F side connections (6 in total)
3 x 1/2” F sensor / monitoring ports, (front facing)
1 x 1-1/4” F top connections, 1 x 1/2" F lower side drain connection
1 x 1-1/2” immersion heater element port, if required. (element available separately)
Must be used with some form of corrosion inhibitor
